Sponsor Appreciation and the Start Banquet
Purdue University has sent an air race team to compete for 25 consecutive years, with this year being the 26th.
Flying an aircraft and entering the race requires funds. Our team relies on sponsorship to be able to send racers every year.
Whichever team comes out on top on the final scoreboard will take home the Margaret J. Ringenberg Memorial Trophy presented by the Indy Aero Club until the next year's race.
Our sponsors this year will fly with us during the race(listed below):
Feature
Indianapolis Aero Club
The Imhoff Family
Platinum
Christopher Konecnik

Some of our other sponsors include Wayne Kepple and those who donated on Purdue Day of Giving.
The Purdue Air Race Team greatly appreciates all donations which allows us to send racers to fly in this historic race every year.
This is the 90th Women's Air Race and we celebrated the start with racers, directors, and volunteers of this year's Air Race Classic at the start banquet.

Boiler Up, Hammer Down!
I love that there are so many sponsors making this tradition possible! Margaret Ringenberg and Lois Feigenbaum were our team’s “Mama Birds” in 1995 and 1996. I also love that the plane still has my classmate’s name on it; RIP Julie. One of these days I want to compile Purdue’s history in the Air Race Classic. Have fun and race safely, ladies!
